When I was younger a girl named Stephanie used to get D's and F's on almost everything. I assume that she thought she tried hard, because of the look on her face when those grade were placed in front of her. Stephanie would talk with embarrassment in her voice, and then she would cry. Sitting beside her i used to think that it was so stupid to cry over grades. A simple letter could mean so much, yet it does. She was defeated. She felt incompetent she felt like everyone thought she was, no matter what she did to make them believe other wise.
